Oregon Wine Adventures

Wine vacations are becoming increasingly popular for good reason: gorgeous scenery, excellent lodging and meals, and that divine grape product called wine.

We at Oregon Wine Adventures believe traditional wine vacations have two drawbacks.  First, they are sedentary, consisting of driving from winery to winery to restaurant to hotel. We prefer active vacations that combine exercise with wine tasting, delicious food, and comfortable accommodations.  Second, traditional wine vacations are mostly limited to the front of a winery tasting bar. On our Oregon Wine Adventure, you get past the bar, into the vineyards, and in conversation with local winemakers.

We spend five days in Oregon, visiting wine regions ranging from Eugene to the northern Willamette Valley to the Hood River appellation. This is a Multisport Tour and we visit the wine regions on foot, bicycle, and canoe. Most of our activities are not currently available in the Oregon wine country outside our tour.

And Oregon's wine country is unique. It is spread over thousands of acres and dominated by small, family-run wineries. Each owner/vintner we meet has a great story and we will hear many of them as we try the local Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, and Riesling wines. For complete information on our Oregon Wine Adventures, visit the links on the left-hand menu.
